we were all sooo psyche! i asked jacky about a month ago, how she would like to celebrate the last few days as a single lay deh? she said she wanted a slumber party ala blair waldorf of gossip girl... so, i started planning wayy ahead... did my research and manage to pull it off with style!! hehe.. rented a service apartment in Darby Park, i came earlier, to finish decorating my cake and set up the projector i 'borrowed' from the office.. heheh
well.. first things first...
here's the penis cake!! well, this time i had a lil help to 'ice' the cake... ;-)

we had aqeqah ceremony a week after eid to welcome the latest addition to the family, my niece, Maira Zahra Faisol.
my sis baked the cuppies and i helped to decorate. we chose a rather sweet colour combination for this ceremony.
my two favourite colours, pink, creme and lite brown...

i decorated the coconut shell that my dad has nicely carved.....
during the ceremony, the elderly will cut a lil bit of the baby's hair and put it in here...
decoration for the moses basket... i stick to same theme..

i admit being a total sloth these past few months.
i've made very lil cuppies... and i couldnt find time to put it up here... :(
apparently, my 5 year old camera, is considered an antique now, can only take very few blur-free clicks...

Fiza, our mentor left us (the MTs) to pursue her career in a different industry.. a couple of weeks before the official last day, she threw us a party at her home..
it was sad that she had to leave, but we thank her for she has been a great mentor.. and for all the support and guidance she has given us..
the good thing is, now after 2 months she has left, we are just as close!
baked some cuppies for the party and was in the mood experiment with the design..

i mentioned that i was invited to a two year old birthday bash in my previous post..
here's a tribute to the devoted mommy who organized the party! the super mom who took a great effort to do the toppers for the birthday cake herself!
Idora called me a couple of days before asking for the best medium to mold into cake decoration.. i told her that she could get a readymade fondant at the baking shop. the result was superb! i was amazed and she did a really good job with the toppers!

as for the party, the kids definitely had loadsss of fun! so did marissa who seemed soo shy at first.. it took me 30 minutes to convince her to join the crowd in the pool.. then i had a tough time to get her out! ;)
someone brought cupcakes to the the party! they were very very pretty.. sooo colourful and tasty! just the right sweetness and texture! totally love the choice of colours.. purple and pinks!
it matches the birthday girl's swim suit! :)
